In all plants producting chemicals, petrochemicals or potentially explosive materials, there must be a series of safety standards for preventing fires or explosions and protecting workers.
Modern technology has experimented with and put on the market explosion-proof products capable of protecting electrical equipment and lighting elements in areas at risk of explosion and fire.
CEA offers a wide range of solutions suitable for on-shore and off-shore applications, which find their use in industrial plants, in areas with a risk of explosion.
Materials used for building reinforcement
The electrical equipment marketed by our company also includes explosion-proof lighting structures. This protection is made of polyester reinforced with fibreglass and/or stainless steel, and allow for safe use of different types of lamps and lighting elements:
• fluorescent
• bulb
• tubular
The protective structures are made of certified and safe materials capable of resisting in the event of explosion, impact or fire. This guarantees constant lighting in pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical production areas.
The explosion-proof fixtures consist of a lighting structure that can be installed on the ceiling or wall, a lighting structure for discharge lamps up to 400 W, and a concentrated light fixture.
Our company installs emergency lights for both internal and external areas, with command and control units and portable explosion-proof lamps.
