CEA, market leader in explosion-proof electrical equipment and products since 1997
CEA is the only assembler and distributor in Italy of explosion-proof electrical products from Crouse-Hinds by Eaton, a leading brand in the production of specific equipment for installation in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, refining and power industries. It has wide experience in the security sector for petrochemical and pharmaceutical companies.
CEA, Compagnia Elettrica Antideflagrante, was founded in 1997 when Cooper Industries Italia sold its division CEAG, but has been running in the area since 1972.
Following various mergers and changes in corporate structure, CEA is now the only distributor in Italy of Crouse-Hinds by Eaton products [link to Crouse Hinds by Eaton page], designed and built at various factories around the world.
Our long experience in the sector has let us reach high quality standards in highly specialist production of equipment that guarantees maximum safety in areas with a high risk of explosion.
Explosion-proof electrical equipment, certified by ATEX, IEC, NEMA, UL-CSA, INMETRO and EAC.
Production of polyester and stainless-steel equipment is done in Germany and Britain, at Cooper Crouse-Hinds, and of aluminum products in Spain, at the Cooper Crouse-Hinds Nortem Sa factory.
Our trained technical staff and state-of-the-art equipment guarantee excellent results and constant updating, for products certified for their high quality and perfectly compliant with sector regulations and standards not only in the EU but also in countries not covered by ATEX (UL-CSA American certification).
