Our Proposals
CEA s.r.l. (Compagnia Elettrica Antideflagrante) is the distributor for Eaton in Italy, offering certified equipment suitable for installation in explosive hazard areas.
EATON CROUSE-HINDS
Portable Lamps are used for industrial applications such as safety checks, inspections, and repair work in the presence of explosive substances.
LED Lighting Fixtures and Lamps offer a wide variety based on the application, primarily determined by the type of lighting required and economic efficiency. The range includes products certified for use in the United States and Canada, certified according to UL and CSA standards.
Control Manipulators and Pushbutton Stations are standard and customized units for areas with explosion hazards.
The enclosures are made of GRP, light alloy, or stainless steel. The modular design allows combining distribution modules with snap-mounting. Safety switches are used to isolate power in electrical installations. Main current switches are used for drives, motor control, and other electrical equipment. The range includes solutions certified for use in the United States and Canada, certified according to UL and CSA standards.
Connectors: The Ex-Link series is a simple, manageable, and flexible connection system. The Plug&Play system connects and disconnects powered equipment in hazardous areas, and is particularly suitable for removable or portable equipment.
Sockets and Plugs:
The new plugs and sockets provide reliable power delivery, even in the most challenging conditions. They are resistant to water and dirt ingress, as the plugs ensure an IP66 protection rating even when removed, with protection guaranteed during insertion and operation. Suitable for installation in Zones 1-2-21-22 with ATEX and IECEx certification, or with UL/CSA certification for North America.
EATON MTL
Zener Barriers: The MTL 7700 series barriers protect devices in explosive atmospheres, including flammable gas/air mixtures, powders, and fibers. Applications include protection for installations with unapproved devices (simple apparatus) like thermocouples, switches, and resistive sensors, or separately certified devices like sensors, transmitters, and pneumatic current-to-pressure converters (I/P).
Active Barriers for DIN Rail or Backplane Mounting: With over 40 years of experience in hazardous areas, MTL’s intrinsically safe barriers are reliable for installations in hazardous zones and use galvanic isolation to prevent transmission errors that may lead to interruptions in processing and monitoring control signals.
Intrinsic Safety Indicators: These digital indicators allow local display of process variables in hazardous areas and general use plants. For example, mass/flow calculations can be retransmitted from the safe area to the indicator in the hazardous area via an appropriate MTL IS interface.
Multiplexers: The analog multiplexer system with Modbus outputs provides a cost-effective alternative to single-loop isolation via barriers. It reduces installation and wiring costs by up to 50%, transmitting data from multiple sensors in hazardous areas over a single twisted pair.
Intrinsically Safe Ethernet: For applications requiring access to hazardous areas in Zone 1 and Zone 0, including wireless solutions, the 9460-ET series offers Power over Ethernet (PoEx) with a single cable, enabling real-time connection and disconnection of devices in Zone 0 or Zone 1.
HART Interface Multiplexers: These provide reliable connections between field devices and plant control systems, enhancing predictive maintenance diagnostics in plant asset management.
Fieldbus: MTL provides an open, non-proprietary fieldbus network for process control systems and field devices, supporting a wide range of applications in both hazardous and safe areas.
Firewalls for Acquisition Systems: Tofino's industrial security solution revolutionized cybersecurity for control systems, introducing Enforcer and Conduit modules for enhanced protection.
Network Cameras: Designed for use in Group I mining applications, they connect directly to compatible IS Ethernet systems via wired LAN or Wi-Fi, offering compact, robust, and cost-effective solutions.
HMI for Zones 1/2/21/22: The GECMA Work Station range provides reliable visualization in hazardous areas, with options for Remote Terminals, Thin Clients, and Personal Computers.
Surge Protection: MTL offers a full range of surge protection devices and suppressors for both residential and industrial applications.
Alarm Systems: The RTK alarm annunciators provide the ideal solution for all alarm system requirements. The modular design allows configuration from single to 256 channels, with customizable features for hazardous areas.
EATON MEDC
Manual Call Points: Designed to trigger an alarm in an emergency in a hazardous area, made from materials like GRP or stainless steel, with IP66 and IP67 protection ratings and ATEX/IECEx certifications.
Xenon Beacons: Flashing indicators that provide solutions for potentially explosive environments, available in fixed and rotating units for warning or state indication of plant elements.
Explosion-Proof Speakers: Designed for industrial and commercial use, these speakers meet the requirements for public information, voice alarms, and evacuation procedures in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Combined Acoustic and Visual Units:
These devices alert both acoustically and visually in emergency situations, built for use in harsh environmental conditions in sectors like oil, gas, and petrochemical.
